April Fools! (a little late)

Look what I served to my dad on April 1st for dinner. My mom and I made fish sticks, peas, and ketchup to go with it.










Or is it?!

(Don't forget it's April fools) Don't tell my dad it's really sugar wafers with peanut butter rolled in rice crispies, green apple Laughy Taffy, and raspberry jam. Keep it a secret.

My dad and brother were at Disneyland during Spring Break,so we had a girl week!

My mom was reading a blog that gave directions to make a quilt (ohfransson.com) and we decided to make one. We worked really well together and we finished the whole quilt top.

First we shopped for 12 fabrics.

My mom did all the cutting and I organized them by color pairs on labeled cardstock.

Next my mom sewed the blocks together, B clipped the
threads, and I pressed the seams open. These are a few of
the finished block patterns.



After 5 hours of sewing, we set the pieces out in the right order so
we could sew the white in between the squares.



Finally, after a lot of fun and hard work we finished the quilt top!
